Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

This competition is promoted by MDLDN Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number: 12267946), whose registered office is at 30 Brewer Street, London W1F 0SS ("mdlondon", "we", "us", "our").

2. Competition Period

Each competition runs for a period of two months as specified in the relevant campaign announcement on our social media channels. The exact start and end dates will be clearly stated when each competition launches.

3. Entry Requirements

To enter, you must:

  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Be a resident of the United Kingdom
  • Follow @mdlondon on Instagram or @mdlondonhair on TikTok
  • Create and post at least one piece of original content per competition cycle on Instagram and/or TikTok featuring mdlondon hair tools
  • Use the hashtag #GreatHairMadeEasy and tag mdlondon in your post
  • Ensure the social account you are posting from is public for the duration of the competition

4. How to Enter

  • Create original video content showcasing your hair styled using mdlondon tools
  • Post the content to your Instagram or TikTok account
  • Include the hashtag #GreatHairMadeEasy in your caption
  • Tag @mdlondon in the post if on Instagram or @mdlondonhair if on TikTok
  • Ensure your post remains live and public throughout the competition period

5. Prize

The winner will be invited to the mdlondon studio in London for a styling masterclass and content creation session with Michael Douglas, founder of mdlondon. Travel costs of up to £200 will be reimbursed. Receipts for travel must be supplied.

6. Winner Selection

  • One winner will be selected by mdlondon's judging panel based on creativity, originality, and quality of content
  • The winner will be announced on mdlondon's Instagram and TikTok accounts within 7 days of the competition closing
  • The winner will be contacted via social media DM
  • If the winner does not respond within 7 days, a new winner may be selected

7. Prize Location

  • The winner’s styling session will take place at mdlondon’s studio at 30 Brewer Street, London W1F 0SS, within 28 days of winner confirmation. We reserve the right to extend this period.


8. Content Rights

By entering, you grant mdlondon:

  • A perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, and display your submitted content and any content created during the prize-winning styling session with Michael.
  • The right to use your content for marketing, promotional, and commercial purposes across all platforms
  • The right to edit, crop, add music or modify your content as needed
  • Permission to tag and mention your Instagram handle when reposting your content whether you are selected as a winner or not

9. General Conditions

  • Entries must be original content created by the entrant
  • Content must not infringe any third-party rights
  • Content must not contain offensive, inappropriate, or defamatory material
  • mdlondon reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not comply with these terms
  • Employees of mdlondon and their immediate families are not eligible to enter
  • mdlondon's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into

10. Data Protection

By entering, you consent to mdlondon processing your personal data for the purposes of administering the competition. Your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at mdlondon.com

11. Liability

  • mdlondon accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, or corrupted
  • mdlondon's liability is limited to providing the stated prize
  • Nothing in these terms excludes mdlondon's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence

12. General

  • These terms are governed by English law
  • Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts
  • If any provision is found to be invalid, the remainder of these terms will continue to apply
  • mdlondon reserves the right to cancel or modify the competition if circumstances beyond our reasonable control make this necessary
