Returns Policy

 

Different MDLondon products are subject to different returns policies. Please ensure you read the section that applies to the product you are purchasing.

 


 

1. Electrical Styling Tools, Brushes & SAC (MDLondon)

Applies to: STRAIT, BLOW, CURL, WAVE, PHAT, SAC, and all brushes.

Non-faulty goods

If you wish to return an unused MDLondon electrical styling tool, we offer returns within 28 days of purchase, subject to the following conditions. Returned items must be sent back in their original product packaging. Items that arrive damaged, defaced, or not in a resaleable condition may be rejected by our returns team and returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.

Approved returns will be refunded to the original payment method within 7 days of inspection.

 


 

Damaged goods on arrival

Please inspect your order upon receipt. Any damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery.

  • If goods are visibly damaged, please sign the carrier’s delivery note accordingly or refuse delivery.

  • If damage is discovered after opening, do not use the product and contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue.

 


 

Incorrectly supplied goods

If you believe you have received the wrong product, please contact us within 7 working days of receipt so we can arrange a replacement or resolution.

 


 

Faulty goods & warranty

  • Electrical products purchased from 01.09.2025 are covered by a 2-year warranty in the UK and 1 year outside the UK.

  • Products purchased before 01.09.2025 are covered by a 1-year warranty, with an additional year if registered within 28 days of purchase.

  • Please note that products purchased via eBay (MDLONDON Outlet), TKMaxx, or Amazon (end-of-line stock) are excluded from the extended warranty. These products come with a standard 1-year warranty and cannot be registered for an extended warranty.

  • In the unlikely event of a fault or mechanical defect in material and workmanship within the 12 months of purchase the product should be returned to the retailer for replacement.

This warranty covers mechanical and electrical faults arising from normal domestic use in accordance with instructions. It does not cover misuse, incorrect voltage, unauthorised repair, or accidental damage.

 


 

2. The Numbers – Styling Products

Applies to: All products within The Numbers range.

Returns & refunds

Due to the nature of cosmetic and hair styling products, and for hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for:

  • Change of mind

  • Incorrect product selection

  • Dissatisfaction with performance or results

Once a purchase has been completed, items from The Numbers range are non-returnable, except in the case of a confirmed fault.

 


 

Faulty products

A return, replacement, or refund will only be considered where the product is demonstrably faulty, limited strictly to:

  • A defective or damaged container, or

  • A faulty delivery mechanism (including pump, spray, or nozzle) that prevents normal use

Any fault must be reported within 7 days of receipt and supported by proof of purchase. Where a fault is confirmed, we will offer a replacement or refund at our discretion.

 


 

3. Returns procedure (all returns)

If you need to return a product, please follow the steps below:

  1. Email contactus@mdlondon.co.uk with:

    • Your order number

    • Reason for return or details of the fault

    • Your full address and mobile number

  2. We will provide return instructions within 48 business hours.

  • Faulty goods: A pre-paid return label and QR code will be provided.

  • Non-faulty goods: Customers must arrange return postage at their own cost and provide proof of postage.

Please package items securely using original packaging. Items damaged in transit due to inadequate packaging may be rejected and returned to the customer.

 


 

4. What happens next

  • Returns are inspected within 7 working days of receipt.

  • Faulty products may be repaired or replaced at our discretion.

  • Approved refunds for non-faulty returns will be processed within 7 days.

  • We aim to complete all returns within 14 working days of receipt at our warehouse.

 


 

5. International returns

We are unable to arrange returns where the return address is outside the UK. This applies even if the product was originally purchased or registered in the UK.

 


 

6. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
